Library Trustee Jennifer Meyer signs as sponsor of Novel Night safe ride home

The Friends of the Town of Pelham Public Library are happy to announce that this year’s Novel Night Safe Ride Home initiative is generously sponsored by Library Trustee and Compass real estate agent, Jennifer Meyer. Novel Night, which will take place on October 2nd, is the central fundraiser for Pelham’s public library.

Meyer, a resident of Pelham since 2002, is a patron and fan of Pelham’s library. Her family enjoyed the Children’s Library, and she trusts the library’s Summer Reading Lists and recommendations from knowledgeable librarians when seeking out a new book to read. Meyer is currently a Trustee for the library. When she and her husband first moved to Pelham, they attended their first Novel Night, at a dinner themed to The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas by Larry L. King. Meyer recalls, “The hosts did an amazing job setting the scene—they had audio of roosters crowing, the food was great and the costumes were amazing. We loved the afterparty too! After that Novel Night we thought that Pelham was the greatest place to live!” Meyer and her husband have since co-hosted several Novel Night dinners.

An active member of the Pelham community, with ties to the Pelham Junior League, Pelham Youth Lacrosse and Colonial School PTA, Meyer is perfectly suited to sell real estate in Pelham for Compass Real Estate. Meyer says, “It is a joy to help buyers and sellers in the community I not only live in, but love!”

The Novel Night After Party, featuring Safe Ride Home sponsored by Jennifer Meyer, will take place at 9 PM, October 2nd at the New York Athletic Club. To learn more about the event, please visit www.pelhamnovelnight.com.
