Vandalism was reported in the Wolfs Lane Park across the street from Villaggio’s Ristorante and Pizzeria on Wednesday afternoon, according to a statement sent by the Pelham Police Department via Nixle.

“It is possible that this damage was caused by local students,” said the statement. “If you or your child were in the park after school yesterday and you have information that would help us identify who caused the damage, please contact the Pelham police detective division.”

The police said there has been increased amounts of litter found in that section of Wolfs Lane Park since school’s start in September. “Please speak with your child about the importance of maintaining a clean community for us all to enjoy,” said the police.
