New Rochelle police are seeking the killer of a cab driver who was shot early Thursday morning when parking his cab in the lot of Juliano’s Caterers at 700 Main St.

Police officers found Andres Valenzuela on the ground in the lot at 2:50 a.m. with two gunshot wounds, according to a New Rochelle Police Department press release issued Friday. Valenzuela, a 62-year-old resident of New Rochelle, was pronounced dead after being transported to a local hospital.

Valenzuela had finished his shift as a taxi driver and was parking his cab when the incident occurred, the release said.
