Pelham varsity and JV rugby teams win New York State 7s Championships
The Pelham varsity rugby team won its sixth consecutive New York State 7s Championship.
The Pelham varsity and JV rugby teams won New York State 7s Championships last week. For the varsity team, this is its sixth consecutive championship, the third for the JV.
The championship consists of five tournaments in which teams earn points, and at the end, a champion is crowned. Varsity won three of five tournaments, finishing second in the other two. JV took four out of five, coming second in the fifth.
