Hanukkah on Fifth: Menorah lighting Tuesday at Gazebo with latkes, donuts, LED robots and surprises

Editor’s note: This announcement was provided by Chabad of Pelham.

A large Hanukkah menorah will be lit at the Town Gazebo, this Tuesday, November 30th, the 3rd night of the eight-day Festival of Lights. The community will be joined by Town and Village officials who will be attending, and the event will feature a performance by LED Robots, delicious latkes and donuts and special surprises. A highlight of this year’s celebration is  “Chanukah Village,” an exciting scavenger featuring crafts, balloons, treats, gifts & swag at stores along Fifth Ave and Wolfs Lane prior to the menorah lighting!

Complimentary Hanukkah menorahs and candles will be distributed as well for participants to light at home.

“Everyone is especially excited about Hanukkah this year,” said Mrs Chaya Groner, Program Director of Chabad Pelham. “People are preparing to celebrate with family and friends, to fill their homes with the light of Hanukkah, and there’s a palpable joy. The public Hanukkah celebration is about sharing this light and joy with the broader community and the entire Town.”

A special thank you to corporate sponsor Maurice Michanne of Capital Realty NY, participating stores AH Magic Salon, Decicco and Sons, The Pelham Fire Department, Meridian Risk Management, Richard’s Passport, Tig & Peach, Thrive Fitness, Wise Hardware and Top 2 Nails and community donors and volunteers .
