Dear friends and colleagues of Sharon’s:

When we planned memorial services for Sharon around the anniversary of her death in January, we hoped a new wave of the pandemic would not prevent us from holding them, but alas, that’s exactly what has happened. Under present conditions most people would not attend an in-person gathering, and those who came would be as anxious as they were celebratory.

Our deepest wish is that we should all be able to come together to share memories and celebrate Sharon’s wonderful life in the joyful manner she deserves. We are therefore postponing the services until the weather is warm and the virus is at least at a seasonal ebb.

New dates are June 18 for the NYC gathering, and June 25 for the Boston event. We will send out invitations with details and an RSVP link in the spring. We hope you’ll be able to join us then. Until then, stay safe.
