Update: Wednesday school board meeting switched to online only; trustees to hear review of athletics program

UPDATE: Please be advised that this evening’s Board of Education meeting will now be held virtually via Google Meet. The meeting will still begin at 7:30pm and is available for viewing via YouTube Live.

The Board of Education will hold a regular business meeting at 7:30pm on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 in the Pelham Middle School Library located at 28 Franklin Place, Pelham, NY 10803. The meeting can be viewed on YouTube live.

Please note that due to public health and safety concerns, the public will not be permitted to attend this meeting in person. Anyone wishing to make public comment may do so by sending an email to Board of Education President Jessica DeDomenico by 8pm on Wednesday. To the extent possible, please keep comments brief as they will be read into the record.

At the meeting, Christian Hodge, Director of Physical Education, Health and Athletics will present an overview of the District’s Athletics Program.

In addition to Dr. Lauro’s Superintendent’s report, the agenda may include updates from each School Board committee, Finances and Facilities, and the three goal areas of the Strategic Plan: Cultural Competence, Authentic Learning, and the Whole Child.

The Board may also review and/or adopt the following policies: Policy #7554 Dignity for all Students Act (DASA), Payroll Policy, Policy #7550 Complaints and Grievances by Students. These policies will be available for review on BoardDocs as part of the meeting agenda.
