Pelham native Fred Bucher publishes first thriller ‘All The Lies We Believe’
Pelham native Fred Bucher published his first novel “All The Lies We Believe” in December.
The book is a fast-paced thriller with themes from today’s society. The story follows the protagonist, Will, who is forced to confront dangerous enemies when a stolen laptop exposes a murderous conspiracy.
The writing took about 15 months from start to finish. ”I got very serious about writing the book in December of 2020,” Bucher said. “I was between jobs, and it also gave me something to do during the cold winter months of the pandemic.”
Bucher grew in Pelham and graduated from Pelham Memorial High School in 1986. His mother, Betty Bucher, is a lifelong resident of the town.
”My hope for readers is that when they are reading, they are entertained,” said Bucher. “I tried to make the characters more complex and feel more real to readers.ˮ
“All the Lies We Believe” is available at Barnes and Noble, as well as on Amazon, for those looking for the twists and turns of an action-packed thriller.
