The Junior League of Scientists, the Pelham Public Schools and the Pelham Education Foundation are proud to bring William Kamkwamba to our community. Mr. Kamkwamba wrote the critically acclaimed book The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind which is the true story of his life. Mr. Kamkwamba grew up in central Malawi and taught himself how to build a wind turbine from scrap to bring electricity to his small village during a famine. Please join us February 28, 2022 at 7 pm.
