Oliver Tam and Aidan Zusin, both seniors at Pelham Memorial High School, were named 2022 New York State Champions in the Duo Interpretation category while competing for the school’s forensic speech team.

Tam and Zusin were among more than 800 students in the online tournament, according to a release from PMHS. They were the first state champions for the high school since 2011.

Sophomore Isaac Lief placed 12th in Congressional Debate.
