Lincoln Avenue alert: Traffic shifts to new bridge over Hutch parkway on Saturday

The New York State Department of Transportation is advising Westchester County motorists that a new traffic pattern is expected on the East Lincoln Avenue bridge over the Hutchinson River Parkway in the City of Mount Vernon/Village of Pelham, beginning Saturday, June 18, weather permitting.
Traffic will shift slightly to the north onto the new bridge and off the temporary bridge. This new bridge was constructed as part of the ongoing bridge replacement and rehabilitation project in Lower Westchester.
Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
