On July 19, the Town of Pelham Democratic Committee elected new leadership to its Executive Committee during its biennial organizational meeting. Allison Frost, Village of Pelham Manor Co-Chair and a District Leader representing Election District 9, was elected Town Chair. Ms. Frost brings many years of experience working, organizing, and volunteering in politics and campaigns to the role. “I’m honored and excited to take on this new role,” she said. “Local political participation offers a way for people to understand how government works, and to make a real impact. As Town Chair I welcome all Democrats, and all voters, to help us create a community as wonderful as the people within it.”

Ms. Frost succeeds outgoing Town Chair Marin Zielinski, who stepped down after leading the Committee for four years. Ms. Zielinski was recently elected to the New York State Democratic Committee for Assembly District 88 and will serve as District Leader for Election District 3 as well as Village of Pelham Co-Chair.

Also elected to the Executive Committee was Julia Fuller (Vice Chair); Moneeka Zaman (Secretary- reelected); Kate Carpenter (Village of Pelham Co-Chair- reelected); and Toby Marxuach-Gusciora (Village of Pelham Manor Co-Chair- reelected).
