Extreme Gardening: The Plant Survivors

Sunday, September 25, 2022

261 Highbrook Avenue

3:30 – 4:30 p.m.

Drought, heatwaves, downpours: Explore the plant heroes of summer 2022 with a visit to Heather Eliezer’s terraced perennial garden. Discover outstanding plant communities that stand up to extreme weather.

Enjoy meeting neighbors, sharing information with knowledgeable people, and taking action to improve our environment.

Learn about choosing the ‘right plant for the right place’ so your garden can thrive without water, fertilizers, or other inputs. Spend less time weeding with healthy plants that shade out competition.

Information about Healthy Yards, Pollinator Pathways, and native plant lists will be available.

Garden signs will also be available for those who take the Pelham Healthy Yard Pledge!
