Brian Rose Presents: The Films of Alfred Hitchcock

Adult Book Clubs-Now Hybrid!

The After-Dark Book Club will meet on Thursday, October 6 at 7:30pm to discuss Violeta by Isabel Allende and on Thursday, November 3 at 7:30pm to discuss The Summer Guest by Justin Cronin.

The 2nd-Friday Book Club will meet on Friday, October 14th at 10:30am to discuss The Brooklyn Follies by Paul Auster and on Friday, November 11 at 10:30am to discuss All the Rivers by Dorit Rabinyan.

Book Clubs are currently meeting both at the Library and on Zoom in a hybrid format. This is subject to change. Please check our website for updates.

Free Covid Test Kits Courtesy of Westchester County

Westchester County has provided the Pelham Library with free Covid-19 home-testing kits for distribution to our community. Residents may pick up kits during library hours while supplies last. Each box contains two nasal-swab antigen tests. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has extended the expiration date for these kits to January, 24, 2023.

Pelham Reads! Flora and Ulysses

The Friends of the Pelham Library have book loads of fun activities planned October 1 and 2. With Flora and Ulysses related activities happening here at the Library and all over town, be sure to check out their detailed itinerary for the weekend! We’re especially excited about face painting, 2 different cape making workshops and even a movie!

Kid’s Craft Studio: Cork Sailboats

Join us for some ship-building at the library! Take to the seas (or the kiddie pool) with your own cork sailboat. This craft is for kids ages 4 and up. No registration is required and all materials will be provided.

Kid’s Craft: Paper Plate Masks for Halloween!

Come into the library anytime between 10/24 and 10/31 to make your very own paper-plate Halloween mask! We’ll have pre-cut masks, as well as crayons, markers, and all kinds of other fun stuff out for you to get creative with. This activity is intended for kids 6 and up, but everybody is welcome to participate!

Kid’s Craft for Halloween: Monster Making

Outdoor Story Time

Join us for our popular storytime for infants and toddlers outside on our front lawn. Story time is designed to enhance early literacy skills and features diverse children’s books in which all children can see themselves represented… plus we have a lot of fun! Please bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on. In case of inclement weather, the event will be canceled. Please call the Library that morning to confirm.
