Pelham Art Center opens registration for winter classes

The New Year is approaching and with it, new creative explorations and adventures! Pelham Art Center is now taking registrations for its Winter 2023 semester classes for all ages. Classes and workshops will cover a wide variety of art techniques and media for all age groups. Pelham Art Center classes are immersive creative experiences led by professional teaching artists. Each class introduces an artistic medium in depth through guided projects suited to artists of all skill levels. Adult/High-School Classes

Observational Painting from Life with Letizia Gentile – Mondays 9:00am-12:00pm (January 23-March 13)

Learn the classical method of painting a still life with oils through a step-by-step layering process.

Figure Drawing with Frank Guida – Mondays 6:00-8:00pm (January 23-March 6)

Learn the fundamental principles and how to render a realistic human figure through observation.

Digital Photography with Barry Mason – Mondays 7:00-9:00pm (January 23-March 13)

Train your eye as you explore fundamental and creative approaches to the art of photography.

Morning Ceramics with Susan Nathenson – Tuesdays 9:30am-12:30pm (January 17-March 21)

Build upon prior hand building and wheel experience and continue advancing your ceramics skills.

Experimental Printmaking with Satish Joshi – Tuesdays 9:30am-12:00pm (January 17-March 21)

Learn a range of traditional and non-traditional printmaking techniques and explore with a variety of surfaces.

Intro to 3D Printing with The Nerdy Duo – Tuesdays 6:30-8:30pm (January 17-February 28)

Need fun activities to creatively engage the kids while out of school during spring break? Pelham Art Center offers enjoyable creative outlets for kids ages 3+. Choose our Winter Break Camp for ages 3-7, The Magic of Green Screen for ages 8+, Intro to Scratch Programming for ages 8+, Dr. Seuss: Art & Exploration for ages 5-8 or Digital Portfolio for ages 14+. Workshops

Workshops at Pelham Art Center offer unique opportunities to explore different artmaking methods. All skill levels are welcome to come enjoy these guided creative experiences. Scholarships

Pelham Art Center offers need-based, full and partial scholarships for all students. Scholarships are awarded based on available funds – apply now.
