Pelham Interfaith Council held Thanksgiving service Monday

The annual Pelham Interfaith Council Thanksgiving Service was held at Pelham Jewish Center on Monday night, Nov. 2, led by clergy from all of Pelham’s houses of worship. An estimated 90 people attended.

Religious leaders reading prayers and scripture were Rabbi Benjamin Resnick of Pelham Jewish Center, Rev. Matthew Mead of Christ Church, Msgr. Thomas Petrillo of Our Lady of Perpetual Help-St. Catharine, Rev. Dr. Paul Seelman of Huguenot Memorial Church and Rev. Noel Vanek of Community Church of the Pelhams.

Jeffrey Hoffman, director of music at Christ Church, led congregational singing of “American the Beautiful” and “My Country ’Tis of Thee.”

The congregation was reminded that the deadline for Thanksgiving-in-a-Box donations is Tuesday. Distribution will be Wednesday.
