Manor mayor swears in former Mount Vernon officer/Marine Corps vet to village police force

Mayor Jennifer Lapey was honored to swear in Police Officer Jesus Oceguera at last night’s Board of Trustees meeting.

P.O. Oceguera is bilingual and is known for his strong work ethic. He began his career in law enforcement in the City of Mount Vernon Police Department, where he attained multiple training certificates, including field officer certification. Prior to his career in law enforcement, P.O. Oceguera served in the United States Marine Corps and completed a combat deployment in Afghanistan.

The Pelham Manor Board and administration remain committed to staffing service departments with highly trained, dedicated first responders.
