Tickets are now on sale for the PMHS Sock’n’Buskin musical “Bat Boy” with three shows running March 24-26 in the high school auditorium. Showtimes are as follows:
- Friday, March 24, 7:30pm
- Saturday, March 25, 7:30pm
- Sunday, March 26, 2pm
Based on a satirical fable first published in the Weekly World News tabloid newspaper, BAT BOY is a darkly funny, pop-rock musical that tells the extraordinary story of a small town’s discovery of a half-bat/half-boy and his struggle to find a place in a world that shuns him. A cross between My Fair Lady, Little Shop of Horrors and Edward Scissorhands, BAT BOY is a classic love story and modern day musical comedy with a twist. It is unlike anything you’ve ever seen before!
Featuring a score by Laurence O’Keefe (Legally Blonde) and a book by Keythe Farley and Brian Flemming, BAT BOY stars a cast of 32 PMHS students and is directed by Mr. Thomas Beck and Mr. Neil Schleifer.
For more information please email [email protected]. All tickets may be purchased online.
Please note that some of the show’s content and imagery, although comedic and satirical as a nod to several classic “B” horror films, may be inappropriate for elementary aged students.

Another great SnB show. Loved the idea of embracing people who are different!
