The Pelham Council of PTAs is sponsoring a Board of Education candidates forum from 7-9pm next Thursday, May 4 in PMHS Alumni Hall, located on the ground floor of the high school. The forum will be streamed live on YouTube and a recording will be posted to the District’s website.

The forum will be moderated by an independent third party and is open to the public.

Board of Education Candidates have been invited to attend. These include, in order of appearance on the ballot:

• Annemarie Garcia
• Connie Garrido-Carmody
• Sidney Burke
• Tade Reen

Questions from the community are encouraged and can be submitted via the PTA Council Google Form up until Midnight on Sunday, April 30, 2023.

Submitted questions may be edited for content, clarity, or combined with others centered around a similar topic or concern. Questions should not contain queries of a personal nature nor be directed towards a particular candidate. Some submissions may not be asked due to time constraints.

Prior to the candidates forum, Dr. Champ will hold a brief presentation on the proposed 2023-24 school budget beginning at 6:30pm. This presentation will also be streamed on Youtube.
