Voting in the Pelham Union Free School District election is being held Tuesday in the Pelham Middle School gym until 9 p.m.

The school board has asked voters to approve a $91 million budget that boosts spending 7.98% from this year, while raising the tax levy by 2.07%, which is the maximum allowed by the state-tax cap.

In an email, the district offered these reminders:

  • Parking restrictions have been waived on Corlies Avenue.
  • Absentee ballots must be received by the district clerk by 5 p.m. on Tuesday. Absentee ballots may be deposited in the secure lockbox located in the lobby of the PMS gym.
  • The annual Kids Vote will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the vestibule of the PMS main entrance. This is for Kindergarten through fifth grade students.
