The Friends of the Town of Pelham Public Library are happy to announce that Rockwells restaurant is a generous Dinner Party sponsor of this year’s Novel Night. Novel Night, which will take place on September 30th, is the central fundraiser for Pelham’s library. Funds raised through Novel Night are used to support library programming for adults and children, to fund essential purchases like new furniture and computers, and to ensure patron access to electronic information and technology.
Rockwells, owned and operated by the Robins family since 1996, has long been a beloved spot for Pelhamites to commune for game-watching, celebrating, and feasting on great food. This year, owner Stephen Robins decided to host a Novel Night party for 80 lucky Pelhamites, themed to Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. The seated continental buffet dinner and tasty libations are bound to thrill pirates and landlubbers alike.
“We recognize the importance of supporting the local community,” Robins says. “The Pelham Public Library plays a crucial role in promoting literacy, education, and cultural enrichment in Pelham. Hosting a fundraiser for the library demonstrates our commitment to giving back and investing in the community’s well-being. Money raised from the event will help provide the library with additional resources, materials, and programs that benefit the entire community.”
The Treasure Island theme allows Rockwells to create a unique and immersive experience, transporting guests into the world of the novel and creating a night to remember. “Our sponsoring this and other community events is aligned with our goal of serving our community and opening the doors to the restaurant, providing friendly service with a sense of urgency to delight our guests,” Robins says.
Novel Night, sponsored by Rockwells, will take September 30th at the New York Athletic Club. To learn more about the event, please visit www.pelhamnovelnight.com.
