It is with profound sadness that we make it known that Stephen V. Carollo of Pelham, NY passed away on October 6, 2023. He was 71 years old and was born on Oct. 14, 1951 in Brooklyn, NY to Jean and Stephan F. Carollo. He was one of two children.
Steve graduated from Lafayette High School in Brooklyn in 1969 and received his bachelor’s degree from St. Johns University in Staten Island and Queens in 1973.
He later met his adoring wife Linda Sadev and they married in 1996, initially residing in Mamaroneck, NY, before moving to Pelham.
Steve worked as Sr. Property Underwriter for the American International group in NYC for nearly 30 years. He had a strong work ethic and was committed to his career.
Steve will best be remembered by his wife Linda Sadev as a loving, caring, and incredibly thoughtful husband and best friend who always put his family and friends first.
He above all was a family man who cherished his roles as Husband, Brother, Father (he just couldn’t wait to fill that role when he was young), and most special to him was his role as Grandfather. He treasured every minute with his Grandchildren Gianna, Alexis, Hailie, and Michael Jr.

He cherished time with family and friends always and loved celebrating holidays, birthdays, and other special life events. Thanksgiving around the dinner table and Christmas Eve with family were most meaningful to him.
Steve’s passions included music and history trivia, movies, and baseball and he was a huge fan of the Beatles, Eagles, and Yankees. He enjoyed traveling in the Northeast and his long daily walks. His memory for dates for everything was uncanny and he always kept us all out of trouble with that.
