There is more to the farm than just the barnyard animals. Join the curator to learn more about Muscoot’s beautiful trails.

Lenoir Preserve, Dudley Street, Yonkers – (914) 968-5851
Hawk Day – 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Bring binoculars and join the Hudson River Audubon Society on the wide lawn in front of the mansion to search for broad-wing hawks heading south on their 4,300-mile migration to South America. There will be a live hawk demonstration at 1 p.m.

Help with invasive plant removal, trail work, beach clean-up, and more.

Live Owl Hike – 5 p.m.
Join our resident naturalist for an early-evening walk around the reservation with her live owl. Co-sponsored by the Friends of Trailside Nature Museum and Ward Pound Ridge Reservation.

Who Gives a Hoot! – 11 a.m. – noon
Learn all about owls and then dissect owl pellets to discover what they eat. Pre-registration is required by 9/19. Fee per child is $4. There will be no live owls for this program.

Submit Photos for Annual Photography Exhibit – 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Submit up to three photographs. Photographs must have been taken at the conservancy. No size limit. All ages are welcome to participate. Photographs must be framed and wired for hanging.
