Field hockey, boys soccer, football, girls tennis, girls swimming contribute Athletes of the Week

Seniors Jenna Letizia, Lindsay McNamara, Adam Bukowski, Lucy Bischof, Jennifer Bell, Emily Talamas and Jorge Chit-Sanchez, juniors Grace Liberatore and Joel Hawthorne and sophomore Daniela Christian were named PMHS Athletes of the Week. McNamara, Letizia and Liberatore have had outstanding seasons for the field hockey team, which has had a terrific season. Talamas, Bell and Bischof have paced the girls’ swimming and diving team, and Christian represented the girls’ tennis team at the Conference Tournament, advancing through the first round. Bukowski netted a goal for the boys’ soccer team against Irvington and earned a penalty kick in a game against Byram Hills. Chit-Sanchez had 5.5 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and 2 tackles for a loss while Hawthorne added 3.5 tackles and an interception in the football team’s homecoming win over Poughkeepsie.
