Pelham schools will be closed for a snow day Tuesday, the worsening weather extending what was originally a two-hour delay declared Monday evening.
Superintendent Dr. Cheryl Champ announced the closure in an email citing hazardous travel conditions from accumulated snow and the forecast for more snow and freezing rain.
Schools will reopen on Wednesday for normal instruction, the email said.
