Orange County senior assistant DA visits PMHS criminal justice classes

Matthew Healy, the Senior Assistant District Attorney in Orange County, NY visited with students in Jim Ferreri’s criminal justice classes last Friday, sharing insights into the legal system and fielding questions from students. Mr. Healy, who received his law degree from New York Law School and also served as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division, spoke about a variety of topics, including the grand jury system, bail procedures, jury selection, and the dangers of heroin addiction.
