School board to vote Tuesday on new strategic plan, may discuss or adopt cell phone policy for PMHS

The Board of Education will meet at 6:30pm on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 in Room 280 in Pelham Middle School, 28 Franklin Place, Pelham, NY 10803. It is anticipated that the Board will immediately consider a motion to enter executive session to discuss the record of a particular student(s). The Board is expected to reconvene in public in the Pelham Middle School Library at approximately 7:30pm for a regular business meeting. The meeting can be viewed on YouTube live.

Members of the public may attend the meeting in-person.

At the meeting, the Board will honor PMHS students Isaac Lief and junior Chris O’Meara  for their success in Forensic Speech and consider the proposed 2024-29 Strategic Plan for adoption. The Board will also hear from representatives from Southern Westchester BOCES about the various services and opportunities offered to the Pelham Public Schools. Additionally, outgoing Board of Education President and Vice President Dr. Michael Owen-Michaane and Ian Rowe will be recognized for their service to the District.

The Board may also review and/or adopt the following policy: Digital Device Use.
