Dear Readers:
I am thrilled to introduce to you the new group of editors on the masthead of the Pelham Examiner as the newspaper begins its seventh year of publication.
We have four senior editors who joined the Examiner at its founding or in its first year of operation in 2018. They were in fifth and sixth grade at the time. That means most of the top six editors have five or six years experience working for the paper, and interestingly, all of those staffers first became reporters on their elementary school newspapers (the Colonial Times, the Hutchinson Bear and the Siwanoy Spotlight).
Here is the great team running the Town of Pelham’s local newspaper:
Executive Editor: Lark Martin
Managing Editor: Kiran Schwaderer
Deputy Managing Editor: Gillian Ho
Assistant Managing Editor: Oliver Lavallee
Assistant Managing Editor and Head of Recruiting: Charlotte Cohn
Assistant Managing Editor: Kira Findikyan
Entertainment Editor: Scarlett Hanlon
Social Media Editor: Nate Reynoso
They have witnessed the Examiner grow from a little web project to the established community newspaper for Pelham. This paper provides real-world, real-time experience in managing, editing, writing and reporting to these editors and the rest of our staff of 26. It’s a daily lesson in civic engagement.
Enjoy your summer!
With gratitude,
Rich Zahradnik

Do you have a classified section?

No, we do not. What were you seeking to publish?

Thank you, to all of you, for the wonderful work you do, and for your voluntary service to the Pelham community. You deserve a round of applause, and I wish you tremendous success in your future endeavors.
Sincerely,
