Picture House sets annual Picnic in the Park for Sept. 7 in Pelham

June 2024 – Pelham and Bronxville, NYThe Picture House Regional Film Center will kick off the fall season with its popular fundraising event, Picnic in the Park, on Saturday, September 7, 2024, beginning at 6:00 pm. Festivities begin in our newly added outside space, The Patio at the Picture House in Pelham and an advance screening of a feature film in our beautifully renovated 1921 theater. After the screening, guests will head to Wolfs Lane Park directly across the street from the theater, where they will enjoy drinks, dinner from a selection of food trucks and dancing under the stars. Picnic in the Park ’24 is chaired by two beloved, long time Pelham residents: Courtney Maron and Jason Feldham.

“Picnic in the park is one of our most popular nights in Pelham and this year’s festivities promise to deliver an unforgettable evening,” said Clayton Bushong, Executive Director, The Picture House Regional Film Center. “For years, Picnic in the Park has symbolized the transition from summer’s end to the anticipation of a vibrant new season filled with films and exciting Picture House events. It’s a great night to bring together our community in a shared common goal to continue to support the mission of The Picture House.”

Bushong also announced that Meridian Risk Management will be the Marquee Sponsor of the event and added, “We’re particularly grateful to our Marquee sponsor, Meridian Risk Management, a steadfast supporter of The Picture House.”  Various sponsorship levels are available, and there is still time for businesses to support Picnic in the Park 2024.  If you are interested in learning more about sponsorship, contact Andrea Pace at [email protected].

Early-bird tickets for Picnic in the Park ‘24 begin at $125 and are now on sale until August 1st, after which tickets will begin at $135.
