The Village of Pelham Manor has been awarded a $550,000 award through the Climate Smart Communities program. Our project “Watershed 3 Phase 2” is to right-size the stormwater drain line in Monroe Street. This concept is one of the recommended potential improvements in our recently completed Village-Wide Drainage Infrastructure Assessment.
We have been actively keeping residents informed on the status of our stormwater mitigation efforts, and securing this grant further supports our implementation efforts. We are proud to navigate these infrastructure enhancements through a balance financial approach. The stormwater design phase has been progressing Village-wide, and this project was funded in the FY2024-2025 Adopted Budget. Therefore, we are strongly positioned for this project. We will complete the design phase and transition into the project bidding phase as timely as possible.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Lindsey Luft, Village Manager, at 914-738-8820.
