PELHAM, NY — Hold on to your leashes and grab your best furry friends because AMPLIFY, the parent support group for the Pelham Science Research Program, is barking with excitement to announce the 4th Annual Wag-a-Thon! This year’s event is poised to be bigger, better, and wag-tastically fun, with a brand-new venue and an enhanced format that promises to make tails wag and spirits soar!
Mark your calendars for Sunday, September 29, when the Pelham Memorial High School transforms into the ultimate pet-friendly festival from noon to 2 pm. Meet us at the main entrance circle and parking lot of the school for a celebration where science meets community in the most delightful way.
As our largest fundraising extravaganza of the year, the Wag-a-Thon is a pawsome opportunity to support Pelham’s Science Research students as they gear up for their state, national, and international symposiums. Whether you’re a dog-lover or just love a good time, everyone is welcome to join the fun. You can pre-register online or sign up on-site when you arrive.
With every donation of $30 or more, you’ll be rewarded with snazzy branded dog tags and scrumptious dog treats—because who says fundraising can’t be a treat for our four-legged friends? Plus, we’ll also be raffling off exciting prizes.
This year’s Wag-a-Thon is not just a walk in the park; it’s a full-blown festival where you can savor authentic Greek gyros and other mouthwatering eats. And let’s not forget the baked goods and special treats for your canine companions! As you munch and mingle, you’ll also have the chance to engage with our talented Science Research students who will host lively, informal breakout sessions.
