Michael DiPasquale passed away on August 20th, 2024. He was 63 years old. Michael was born on April 3rd, 1961 to Mario and Barbara DiPasquale. As a small family they lived in Stuyvesant Town and three years later his brother, John, joined the family. For 18 years, Michael and John shared a bedroom filled with secrets and laughter. Of course, their dog, Dino, would occasionally join them. Michael would spend the entirety of his life in Stuy Town and has countless memories with his childhood friends.
Michael had a very caring and generous nature. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to his elders in his community. Michael had a special bond with his Aunt Mary, Aunt Jem and Aunt Aurora who he loved dearly. Most of all, his Uncle Ronnie played an important role in his life after the untimely passing of his father. Michael treasured the guidance of his uncle.
As an adult, Michael had a love of Italian food and culture that he loved to share with his family. He enjoyed sharing recipes and cooking for his mother. It would not be uncommon for Michael to surprise relatives with packages of olive oil, roasted peppers and other Italian delicacies.
Michael is survived by his brother, John(Julie) and numerous cousins who he shared many memories with. Michael is predeceased by his parents and his grandmothers(Theresa Gillen and Nancy DiPasquale).
A private celebration of Michael’s life will take place at a later date.
