The Mauro family would like to thank all walkers and donors who participated and supported the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) and the Buddy Walk fundraiser for “Team Jen” on Sunday, September 8th at The Manor Club in Pelham Manor. This local Pelham walk began four years ago when the NYC Buddy Walk was cancelled due to COVID 19 restrictions. The Manor Club has offered its facility to the Mauro family each year confirming its commitment to the Pelham community and has become an integral part of its success. Last week’s walk of approximately 100 walkers and more than 175 donors raised $19,500+ and confirms Pelham’s commitment to supporting “Team Jen” and the mission of NDSS. Local business supporters include DeCiccio & Sons Supermarkets, Manor Market, Ridgewood Savings Bank, New Rochelle, North Shore Market, Mamaroneck, OnPoint Image & Design, Pelham, Pelham Civic Association, Pelham Examiner, Pelham Living, Pelham Palace Chinese Restaurant, Pelham Patch, Retired Men’s Club of Pelham, Shop Rite, Pelham Manor, Tiso Appliances, Pelham, and Trader Joe’s, Mamaroneck.
It’s not too late to donate to “Team Jen” by accessing this link: https://give.ndss.org/teamjen2024. All donations are sincerely appreciated. Mark your calendar and save-the-date for next year’s walk to be held on Sunday, September 7th, 2025.
Thank you again…
