Editor’s note: This press release was provided by the Pelham Girl Scouts. The Pelham Examiner publishes press releases in the form received as a service to the community.
Pelham Girl Scouts, in Collaboration with Huguenot Memorial Church, invites the community to participate in making: 1000 Cards for 1000 Families
Cards will be collected on at various locations in town. Look out for card-making pop up tables, and social media tallies so we can meet our goal. You can also bring them on Nov 23 to Huguenot Memorial Church.
Please share with friends and neighbors! (Would your sports team like to make and donate 20 cards? Would your office like team-build with card making and help reach our goal? Would your kiddo like to host a craft table to make cards and add towards our 1000?))
Look out in November for:
Thanksgiving-in-a-Box Food Drive: Pelham interfaith community event, led by Huguenot, provided approximately 1000 families in Westchester with boxes of food through Family Services of Westchester, and in partnership with Manor Market in Pelham. Food valued at $[80,000]. (Houses of worship participating: Pelham Jewish Center, OLPH, St. Catharine’s, Community Church of Pelham and Christ Church, in addition to box donations from people in the broader community.)
