Isabel Theresa Caltabellotta Frost, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, passed away suddenly on October 2, 2024, at the age of 28. Born and raised in New Rochelle to Salvatore and Lori Caltabellotta, she was the youngest of three children.
Isabel attended New Rochelle Davis Elementary School and Jefferson Elementary School before continuing her education at Eagle Hill School in Greenwich. She later graduated from New Rochelle High School. Throughout her teenage years, Isabel embraced a variety of activities, despite living with asthma. She enjoyed swimming, participating in Girl Scouts, and serving as a counselor at both Badger Day Camp and Mount Tom Day Camp. Her passion for helping children, particularly those with special needs, shone brightly during her time as a babysitter and teacher’s assistant.
The last year of high school proved to be life-changing for Isabel when she met the love of her life, Nathan Frost, through a dating app. Their instant connection led to a second date later that same day. Despite various challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, Isabel and Nathan married on July 10, 2021, in New Rochelle.
Isabel and Nathan were overjoyed when Isabel became pregnant. Her family finds comfort in knowing that Isabel and her unborn child are embracing each other eternally.
Isabel will be remembered as a person with a heart of gold. She had an infectious smile, a bubbly personality, and a genuine desire to help others. Her spirit of generosity and kindness touched everyone she met.
Isabel is survived by her beloved husband, Nathan; her parents, Salvatore and Lori Caltabellotta; her siblings, Tara (Michael) Danza and Salvatore (Samantha) Caltabellotta; and her grandmother, Maria Caltabellotta.
