Prop 3 already shows local issues not overshadowed given lack of online discussion on national, state races

To the editor:

We are in the midst of a razor’s-edge, daily-headline-grabbing, roller-coaster presidential election. Yet on the town message boards and in this paper, this is how often I’ve seen the following discussed (all estimates): congressional races (0 times), statewide ballot propositions (0 times) and the presidential election (0 times).

Proposition 3 actually proves that local issues are not overshadowed. Please vote “yes.”
