PELHAM, NY—Pelham Art Center is thrilled to announce that registration for the Winter 2025 semester will open on Wednesday, November 20th, with an exciting lineup of classes, workshops and unique art experiences for all ages. Winter programming will cover a wide variety of art techniques and media ranging from “Little Architects” to “Marvelous Mixed Media,” Fashion Design Illustration, Abstract Painting, and so much more. Members of PAC will have the perk of early registration, which opens on Wednesday, November 13th.
This season, PAC is also offering a variety of programming to keep both children and adults engaged in the arts while the schools are off for Winter break from February 17th-20th. For ages 3-7, PAC’s all-day camp (9am-2pm) offers an imaginative blend of art-making, movement, and play to spark curiosity and creativity. Older students (8+) can dive into “Character Art for Video Games” or “Digital Art Trends” during their school break, while high school students and adults can participate in an intensive Portrait class led by Edgar Jerins.
PAC also hosts a series of immersive weekend workshops, including the popular “Sound Healing and Meditation,” Yin Yoga, mosaics, sketchbooking, and more–ideal for those looking to explore new art forms or deepen their practice.
Thanks to the support of the Town of Pelham, Westchester Arts Council/Westchester Board of Legislators, New York State Council on the Arts, Uskali Scholarship Fund, and contributions from generous donors, Pelham Art Center proudly offers need-based, full and partial scholarships to make the arts accessible to all. Scholarships are awarded based on available funds, the application can be found here.
The David Uskali Scholarship provides scholarships specifically for high school students to attend year-round classes and workshops with the goal of supporting skill development, talent, and passion for art, and help these young artists create work for college portfolios. This scholarship is open to all high-school students regardless of need. Additional information and an application form can be accessed here.
