Editor’s note: This press release was provided by Project Community. The Pelham Examiner publishes press releases in the form received as a service to the community.
Project Community, Pelham’s only volunteer organization that is spearheaded by expert healthcare professionals, continues its successful community programs that are dedicated to support family life.
Next week, a workshop on the subject of Anxiety will be presented to students at Pelham Memorial High School in Ms. Kimberly Lundy’s Health Class by Dr. Anne Frost, Project Community’s Founder, and Kristin Clinton, who has a Masters in Psychology and is a former Research Faculty member of Mercy College. What’s more, as part of the research study surrounding this initiative, Anna Roberts, a student in Junior Year in the Research Class at PMHS, will volunteer for Project Community and conduct a pre-test and post-test survey.
This will be the second in a series of workshops that Project Community is offering our students. Last month’s subject dealt with Self- Awareness. In December, the issue will be Binge Drinking, then in January, Sexual Assault. Project Community offers a total of six innovative, original programs to tackle relevant issues with insights and answers… for teens, tweens, and children and young adults with special needs.
