Update: Traffic to be moved to new East 3rd Street Bridge today, expect stoppages

Traffic will begin to be moved to the new bridge today, Thursday, November 8, to continue removal and construction activities on the remaining portion of the bridge.

Short-term traffic stoppages to complete this activity are expected to occur between 10 A.M. and 2 P.M., as well as between 10 P.M. and 5 A.M. Traffic stoppages could last up to 20 minutes so the public is asked to plan accordingly for this work.

In addition, the on-ramp from I-87 will remain closed until next week. Please check back often for updates.

Also, single lane closures on the Hutchinson River Parkway (HRP), exits 8 through 12, are expected to occur Monday through Sunday, November 5 through November 11. Daytime lane closures will occur between the hours of 10 A.M. and 2 P.M. Nighttime lane closures will occur between 10 P.M. and 6 A.M.
