Aspiring young musicians may now register for the 2025 Pelham Music Festival, which will take place on February 1, 2025, at the Pelham Country Club.
PMF is an annual celebration of Pelham’s young musicians, and a unique opportunity for them to perform in front of family, friends, and community, in a supportive and nurturing environment. Watching and celebrating your friends’ performances is one of the many reasons people return year after year. The festival is open to instrumentalists, vocalists, soloists and ensembles, playing any style of music including original compositions, and a small number of scholarships are available for families for whom the registration fee is an obstacle. A professional portrait taken by local photographer Liz Farrell is included in each registration.
Founded by Bob and Lauren Eicher in 2003, Pelham Music Festival has grown to 100 plus performers in 2024. It historically features a wide range of instruments, including piano, voice, violin, cello, flute, and saxophone, as well as more unusual ones such as harp and guzheng. The festival also welcomes Pelham school ensembles from elementary through high school, ending with a rousing finale from the PMHS jazz band.
