Congratulations to Police Chief Thomas Atkins on his retirement from the Pelham Manor Police Department (PMPD)! After 39 years of distinguished service with the PMPD, Chief Atkins has announced his retirement, effective December 6. Having previously served as Sergeant, Chief Atkins was promoted to Lieutenant in 2017 and Chief in 2021.
As his proclamation highlights, Chief Atkins has delivered an unparalleled level of service to the residents of our Village and has been a steadfast beacon of integrity and stability. His law enforcement skills are second to none.
Please take a moment to thank Chief Atkins for his exemplary service to our Village. The Board will recognize Chief Atkins at our regularly scheduled Board meeting on Monday, November 25 at 8:15 p.m. at Pelham Manor Village Hall. As always, we welcome residents to join us.
