The Board of Education will meet at 6:30pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 in Room 280 in Pelham Middle School, 28 Franklin Place, Pelham, NY 10803. It is anticipated that the Board will immediately consider a motion to enter executive session to discuss collective bargaining negotiations with the CSEA pursuant to Article 14 of the Civil Service Law. The Board is expected to reconvene in public in the Pelham Middle School Library at approximately 7:30pm for a regular business meeting. The meeting can be viewed on YouTube live.
Members of the public may attend the meeting in-person.
At the meeting, representatives from KG&D Architects will share an update about District facilities, including concepts and associated costs of addressing upgrades outlined in the District’s Buildings Conditions Survey and enrollment/demographic report.
In addition to Dr. Champ’s Superintendent’s report, the agenda may include updates from each School Board committee, Finances and Facilities, and Human Resources as well as the priority areas of the Strategic Plan.
The Board may also review and/or adopt the following policies: Policy 3291- Parking Policy; Policy 5140 – Administration of the Budget; Policy 6130 – Evaluation of Personnel. These policies will be available for review on BoardDocs as part of the meeting agenda.
