JANUARY/ FEBRUARY 2025 HOAG HALL ART
PATRICIA PARDINI, ARTIST
A reception will be held SUNDAY, FEBUARY 2, from 11:00-1:00 PM.
CHRIST CHURCH, 1415 Pelhamdale Ave, Pelham Manor, NY
Patricia Pardini works in Oil, watercolor, graphite or gouache typically. After living in New York City for many years, Patricia moved to Westchester County. She was enamored by the abundance of green spaces and Long Island Sound so close to New York City. It was here that she started to find the untraveled spaces. These practically untouched spaces were all around yet sometimes difficult to access. It is the joy in finding these hidden spaces and appreciating the subtle, wild existence in the heart of a metropolis. “I want others to appreciate the simple nature around us. The spaces we are usually too busy to notice.”
Patricia Pardini was born and raised in Greenwich Village, NYC and graduated with a BFA from the School of Visual Arts. She studied under Brice Marden and Robert Murray as well as a few other notable artists. She was also highly influenced by art historians Benjamin Buchloh and Rosalyn Deutsche. Some other influences are painters Edvard Munch, Winslow Homer, John Singer Sargent and Mondrian.
Art is available to be viewed/bought on Sundays from 8 am till noon or by appointment. Twenty percent of the proceeds of the sale of the artwork will be donated to the Parish of Christ the Redeemer. If you or someone you know would like to display/purchase artwork in Hoag Hall, please contact Patrice Fitzpatrick at [email protected] or 914-393-1885.
