Please be advised that Third Street between Fifth Avenue and Fourth Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 10, 2025, to allow for the installation of a temporary telecommunications monopole facility on the Pelham Green construction site (201 Fifth Avenue).

The temporary monopole is required by Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations, in order to avoid regional cellular service interruption during construction. Telecommunications equipment currently located at the former Village Firehouse (219 Fifth Avenue) will be relocated to the monopole temporarily to allow for the demolition of the firehouse. The telecommunications equipment will then be transitioned to the roof of the new residential building once it is ready to receive the equipment. Thereafter, the temporary monopole will be removed from the construction site.
