PELHAM, NY—This summer, Pelham Art Center invites artists of all ages to unlock their creativity with an exciting lineup of daytime and evening classes for adults and high schoolers, expanded week-long Art & Movement Camps for ages 3-7, all-new Digital Art Intensives for ages 8+, Saturday youth classes, and engaging workshops. Whether you’re looking to dive into traditional art techniques, explore digital media, or incorporate movement and mindfulness into your creative practice, there’s something for everyone!
Registration for the Summer 2025 opens to the public on Wednesday, March 26, with exclusive early access for members starting Wednesday, March 19.
Pelham Art Center’s summer classes are led by professional teaching artists who create an inspiring, hands-on learning experience for students of all skill levels. Young artists can immerse themselves in imaginative courses like Paper Wonders and Master Sculptors, while adults can experiment with dynamic offerings such as Sketchbooking: A Mindful Art Journey, Color Mixing Demystified, and Digital Painting. This summer’s adult workshops extend beyond traditional art-making to embrace wellness and creativity, with unique sessions such as yoga and music, stopmotion animation and collaging.
Due to popular demand, Pelham Art Center is expanding its Art & Movement Camps to run every week from July 7 through August 29—offering even more opportunities for young artists to explore, create and play. These immersive camps combine a variety of art-making activities—including painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, and more—with movement-based activities such as imaginative play, storytelling, improvisational games, and music-making. Through hands-on exploration and self-expression, children will build their creativity, confidence, and social skills in a lively, supportive environment.
Running simultaneously, the all-new Digital Art Intensives introduce students ages 8+ to the exciting world of digital creation. With expert guidance, young artists will learn how to express themselves through digital tools and techniques, gaining valuable skills in a fun and engaging setting. Beyond digital projects, students will enjoy a supervised lunch hour filled with creative activities, including free draw, gallery tours, and games in the courtyard.
Pelham Art Center is committed to making the arts accessible to all. Thanks to generous funding from the Town of Pelham, ArtsWestchester/Westchester Board of Legislators, New York State Council on the Arts, Uskali Scholarship Fund, Annual Fund, and Special Event donors, need-based full and partial scholarships are available for students of all ages. High school students looking to develop their artistic skills and build college portfolios are encouraged to apply for the David Uskali Scholarship, which fosters young talent and artistic growth. More details and applications are available here.
