In an email to the community on Friday, Village of Pelham Mayor Chance Mullen said, “I’m excited to share that the Village of Pelham Police Department has officially made the move to our new Municipal Center! Department personnel have spent the past few weeks transitioning to their new headquarters, and while construction will continue for the parking deck behind the Municipal Center, the police department’s arrival marks the official completion of our move into the building. I’m extraordinarily grateful to Police Chief Danny Green, Lt. Michael Sheehy, and Village Administrator Scelza for managing such a smooth transition. Special thanks is also due to Detective Tom Burpee, who has spearheaded our IT and security setup. Please join me in welcoming our police officers to the new building the next time you see them around the Village.”
The police department previously used rented space in Pelham Town Hall.
