On Tuesday, April 8, the Village of Pelham Board of Trustees ratified a Memorandum of Agreement with the Pelham Professional Firefighters Local 2213 regarding employment terms and conditions for bargaining unit members. This Agreement gives the Village and Fire Department personnel critical stability through May 31, 2029. It includes measures to protect the health and safety of all who serve and fair salary increases that align with the market. This Agreement saves taxpayers approximately $75,000 in costly legal fees by avoiding arbitration.
