Thomas University is thrilled to announce the induction of TU students into Sigma Beta Delta, the internationally recognized honor society for business, management, and administration. The ceremony took place on campus April 17, 2025.
Sigma Beta Delta was founded to encourage and honor the principles of wisdom, honor, and the pursuit of meaningful aspirations in business education. Membership in Sigma Beta Delta is one of the highest academic recognitions a business student can receive, symbolizing the pinnacle of achievement and dedication.
This year’s cohort of inductees comes from diverse backgrounds and geographies including Florida, Utah, Spain and the Netherlands. Donnie Lee Palmer, Jr. of Pelham was included in this year’s cohort. These students have demonstrated exceptional academic performance, achieving, at minimum, a GPA in the top percentile of their class.
Dr. Pauline Ray, Chair of the Division of Business, stated “It is a pleasure to see these exceptional students recognized for their hard work and academic achievement, as well as the contribution by their families in support of those efforts. Their induction into Sigma Beta Delta is a testament not only to their hard work but also to their commitment to making a positive impact in their future careers and communities.”
