EcoPel is teaming up with the Village of Pelham Manor D.P.W. – and YOU – to create vital Roadside Wildlife Habitat along the I95 South sound barrier on Grant Avenue & Esplanade!
With 100+ sumac & Virginia rose seedlings from the New York State Department of Conservation, we’re restoring green spaces, boosting biodiversity, and making a real impact!
Nature needs us– let’s get planting!
When: Saturday, May 3, 2025
Time: 9a.m. – 11 a.m.
Where: Grant Avenue and Esplanade
Why is this important?
Native roadside plantings = important green infrastructure that filters stormwater runoff, safeguards the Hutchinson River and Long Island Sound watershed, and supports local wildlife. Plus, nature in our neighborhood is lovely.
Let’s dig in for a greener Pelham!
