The Junior League of Pelham celebrated Earth Month by removing invasive, non-native mugwort from Woodland playground in support of a healthier ecosystem. Thanks to Ecopel and the Pelham Vine Squad’s Tai Montanarella and Anna Simonsen-Meehan for their expert leadership! Stay tuned for opportunities for community members to join JLP and partners in creating a butterfly garden, a bioswale and raised community garden beds just outside of Woodland playground this summer and fall!
